I was so excited about getting the dollhouse shingles done, I forgot I needed to build a roof first!
I found a lot of lint sticking to the dollhouse clapboard and I’m not sure how to deal with it!
As I was planning out the dollhouse I keep coming across wood stain and wood dye. Wood stain or wood dye? Aren’t they both the same thing?
Even though I researched how to dye and stain wood, today I actually learned how to dye wood with a foam brush. The results are something else!
Part two of what I happened when I dyed the dollhouse shingles.
While I may be a hair dying expert, I know nothing about how to dye dollhouse shingles. That’s about to change!
Like it or not, it’s time for me to learn how to identify dollhouse pieces. This was not a task for the faint of heart.
Even before I finished painting the exterior of the Keeper’s House, I was trying to learn how to sand dollhouse clapboard siding. Lots of fuzz, wood grain and who knows what was still stuck in the paint.
Part two of me building the Keeper’s House. Lots of mistakes to share.
Surprise! I didn’t build today, I painted. But, I learned a lot!
